was going to drive to the ditch saturday afternoon with ck. i know it may still be a little early, however if i dont scratch this itch im gonna go crazy. what are the odds a keeper or two may be on the prowl for some of my plugs? anyone?
I would assume that you will find some action there. The lower cape is doing pretty well. Loads of squid and herring around.
I guy caught a 40 in the " Bath Tub" in Chatham. That is confirmed and not a rumor! There must have been 30 guys lined up on the NW shoreline yesterday morning. The wind was pumping from the NE.
The word is also that some nice fish are being taken on the inside, IE Pleasant Bay. Mostly shorts with a few keepers mixed in.
Also, Nauset Inlet has been very active in the early morning and at night.
They are here for sure. So, as I said, you should be good to go at the Ditch. Unless of course, there is a lull until the next group comes through.
I am planning on heading out today in the boat to explore Pleasant Bay.
I will do my best to try to find some action out of the wind.
