Default Get Yer Gear Ready

Nothing too much. Went out on the lake early in the AM (6:00), there was so much fog, but the fishing was fun. It was perch perch perch. and it was so quiet, our trolling motor makes no noise. Not a soul outside. No Wind. Just us. Me and my friend, hes using a jitterbug, I'm using a popper. We could here the pickeral and bass atatcking it, but couldnt see. It was awesome. I'll post the pics later.

Also, the largemouth and smallmouth fishing gets pretty hot round now. Sorta same thing as the fall run, they are fattening up for winter. Can't remember the proper term.

That being said, get your rapalas, rubber worms, rattle traps, and any and all baitfish resemblance lures(or live shiners work good too) out. Next time the ocean isn't calling, hit the shore of your favorite lake. Shore fishing works especially well, when the bass drive 'em baitfish inshore for better pickings.

So, like I said, next time you want some fun, and dont wanna get sand in your pants. Your local lakes are calling.

Enjoy.... :D
