Default 301 Bridge to St Clements Island MD (Colonial Beach, VA)

I'm new to striper fishing on the Potomac, and could use some advice. I have a few umbrella rigs and a couple of rattle traps that I understand will be good to use. My problem is finding the right place to fish.

I tried fishing the big holes (drop-offs) near Cedar Point (MD) a couple of times, but never had any luck. This is the only place on a chart that looks like an obvious striper hang-out to me. I've also seen a couple of other boats in that area a time or two.

Can someone give me some pointers for catching some Rocks somewhere within range of Colonial Beach (VA)?

Try going down to St. George,s Island and fish the dropoff.
