Default Clams

I took a ride to the beach this afternoon to see what things looked like, the usual after storm scene, beaches had new gullies, sand out onto the streets, wind blowing, and in some spots, clams washed up on the beach. Hypothetically, if you happened to have a 5 gallon bucket in your truck, you could have easily filled it....several buckets actually....hypothetically, because harvesting shellfish is illegal here in Joisey, so filling a bucket would be wrong.
But hypothetically, you could have had enough bait for you and your buddies for the next several fishing outings, for free, if you had a bucket or two.
Hypothetically.

hypothetically you could say that you are just returning them to the water, just hope that they don't ask what the hook is for.

Hypothetically speaking, I will be fishing within sight of your pier on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons/evenings, temps should be lovely, haven't checked the tides though. Takes me almost an hour to get to my spot, and at least another 1/2 hr-45 mins to get to you, and I'll be getting a late start both days, so I'll have to postpone any trip to the Oyland. I'll call you when we're catching....or you could come to Joisey.

I am sorry to say that I did not make it to the beaches for whatever may have been blown in and stuck in pools on the beach. Have heard tales of lobster, and even a cod or 2.

I would have no issue harvesting the bounty of the parking lot, street, puddles.
