Hi Brooks

Not familiar with that part of the country but 2 record hybrids were caught recently. One at Freeman Dam and the other was pulled from the Tippecanoe River in Carroll County. look at this thread. https://stripers247.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3190

Check out the most recent reports here.
Stripers from Brookville Reservoir and Racoon Lake among others.

try brookville resovoir - baits are bluegill or live shad fishing or trolling large doll flys
Depth: 20 feet still fishing or 10 - 20 feet trolling

also try racoon lake (cecil hardin lake) also lake freeman's oakdale dam - that was hybrid bass record spot! & lake shafer

indiana striped bass record > 35.395 lb. Ohio River Tony Campisano 1993 welcome to the site. and

If you are going to wade it, I would suggest the dam at Lake Monroe. It is not far from Indy. The hills are a delight to see and the wiper fishing is usually not bad. Hike down the face of the dam and wander out into the lake; it is fairly shallow for quite a way out. If that doesn't produce, go to the swim area at Fairfield. If you're fly fishing, so much the better. I have not heard about Brookville lately, but when I was there three weeks ago, the zebra mussels are pervasive and they have cleaned the water so well you can see your lure bouncing around twenty feet under the boat. Needless to say, stripers will see you long before you get anywhere near them. That was my take on it, anyway. Good luck!
