Question Cutting Fillet Boards?

Where do you all get your cutting boards for filleting fish? Are there any companies that make custom dimensions so you can store them inside a cooler? Thanks.

Try a butcher supply house. A buddy of mine got us each a 24 x 48 inch piece of white butcher's board, about 1/2 inch thick. I made a table out of treated lumber that fits it perfectly. Every now and then we get a striper over 40 inches, so the large size works well. This stuff isn't cheap, I paid $75 several years ago for mine.

I measured the inside of my cooler, and looked in Target, KMart, etc. I found two (one large, one small) at KMart for less than $12 each. Not perfect fit, but pretty darn close and cheap!

Look around, internet or phonebook for a restaurant supply house. There are more of these that butcher supply houses and they carry most of the same items. They come in sizes around 24x24". They are fairly easy to cut to custom sizes with a circular or band saw.
