Default Striper reel question

Hi, I am looking for a really good reel to fish for stripers with. The reel will primarily be used to fish for stripers and possibly even fluke. The two reels I was looking into getting were the Shimano Trinidad TN-16 and the AVET MXJ model. I have been told by some that these reels are too big to fish for stripers. The reason I was looking at these is I may eventually venture into tuna fishing and would rather just get some good reels from the start. So my question is are these two reels too big for striper, for fluke? Also if you could give me any opinions or experiences you have with these reels please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.

They're on the larger size but not too large.
I use an Abu 7000 for bass all the time and it's very close to the same size.

They could be considered on the small size for tuna

I really like what Avet is doing these days

Tica Wasabi would be nice, but I do not think it has the power or line cap for tuna. No levelwind and affordable. Cool green color.
