Default Is this normal

Okay I am new to this. Been out a few times. Reading everything I can find. It's 8:45 pm on a weeknight and I have the urge to grab my gear and drive an hour to go fish some tides in RI. I'm thinking the only cure may be to actually go and do it

Is this normal?

Haha,, well put. John, there are many nights when I lay down in my bed, close my eyes, and all I can hear is the crash of the surf in my ears. Sleep defies me. There's nothing for it but to get up and go.

What really sucks is deciding what to do when this happens and there's a foot of snow outside.

John That is usual. Normal is to get home after fishing rinse down your gear and want to go back as soon as you stow it away.

I was telling gunny last weekend when we met up at Fort Getty, I felt bad becasue I ran late heading down to LC I inadvertently had set my alarm clock for 1:30 PM not AM The only thing that woke me up was I was having a dream that I was looking at charts of the area we were going to be meeting up at and I flew out of bed realizing i was behind schedule. Weird.
