I'm not sure I totally understand your post, but I was looking at using the rotisserie motor on my grill the other day. It has potential to keep my plugs rotating slowly as the epoxy floats out and sets up. I also came across a small gear reduction motor that I'll need to figure out how to slow down a little more. Perhaps a router speed control from the local Rockler will work.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ROD-DRYING-DRYER...QQcmdZViewItem ?

Also check out "Other Items".
I've dealt with him before and was very pleased with all the dealings.

,,,, or http://cgi.ebay.com/DELUXE-ROD-JIG-D...QQcmdZViewItem
Extra suports are available,, and I had him whittle me a 4 jaw for easier centering and other uses.
The 4 jaw I run with a sewing machine motor at higher speed for shaping cork handles, sanding, etc.

Hope this helps

I use an old rotisserie motor I scored for a buck at a garage sale. Threaded the square hole where the bar fits in and screwed in a big eye bolt

Works great

i use rottisery motor kits from wally world to slow turn my plugs while the epoxy sets up. i posted pics of my "spinner" to show ed white earlier this year...i cant find em anymore..a lot of the threads must have been archived...im sure when jim finds the time he can put up a link..ill try to get my camera emptied out and ill repost some more pics in the next few days...the rottisery motors i have to say have been very reliable and work great with some minor modifications...

My spinner is powered by a 10 RPM 120 volt gear motor( Part# 6Z133 at Grainger , price$81), power to 3 drive shafts that rest on ball bearing are driven by gear pulleys and a timing belt... Adjustment of the non drive side is acheived by adusting a 3/8 threaded rod that runs through two side plates, linking of the plugs is acheived through different lengths of jack chain., swivels are from a tuna hand line, 6 8" plugs can be turned at one time.. heat and light are provided by two sepperate 40 watt light bubs..

This system cost me a few bucks to build but it's made over 500 plugs With no accidents, the finished product is always flawless...

Roccus: The motor is 10 RPM, but at what speed are the lures spinning? Does your pulley system have them spinning at a different speed?
