Tournaments

Just wanted to start a thread where people could post information about any tournaments they know of. I'll start with the obvious one. The Catskill River Basin tournament starts April 15 and registration is open til the 14th of April with a $15 entry fee.

I was just reading one tournament sponsored by THE HUDSON RIVER FISHERMAN STRIPE BASS DERBY , to be held at Billy Joe's Restaurant, Newburgh April 27,28. Weigh in headquarters at Billy Joe's . Call ahead for weigh in on chanel 68 and they will weigh at the entrance of the marina if fish is alive for weigh ,tag, and release. First prize 1000.00,second 500.00,third 250.00, fourth 125.00, and fifth 100.00. Entry fee is 25.00 for main contest before April first,2013. A second contest within the contest will cost you another 25.00 and this is for biggest fish over 50 pounds and 48 inches long. Payoff is 100,000. Not a bad take for some lucky striper hunter!
