Yeah, that's the general consensus I hear too. I fish exclusively in the Hudson and last year was the first in six years of persuing stripers that I didn't even get a lousy bite! Oh, well there's always this year. Maybe we'll warm up like were suppossed to this spring and the stripers will get up this far BEFORE they spawn. I know herring weren't the problem- I never had a problem catching them in the scap net. Oh, and thanks for the welcome! :D
