Yeah, maybe you could teach me a thing or two.

Hit up IBSP today, struck out. I think it's because of these SW winds. The water temperature dropped, and according to Mike at Grumpys it's been a rough few days. He said wait till the temperatures rise a bit, then go give it another try.

Dropped is an understatement - crashed is a better term
Not to say something won't happen, you never know, but the odds are against it enough that I'm avoiding the beach (4th of July weekend mob scene does play a big role in that choice) and hitting the sweet water for the next few days.

Haha yeah I wanted to get one last day in on the salt before the 4th rush goes down there. I'll be up here fishing the lakes for the next week or so until the brine warms back up.

Here's a report, I Suck!!
Last 2 fish hooked both got away, one from a boat on a pencil spit the hook after a nanosecond, fish before that from a jetty was on for 3 seconds before it took my pencil away
I'm pretty sure I hear a fat lady singing, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so

hammered fatties at the hook. <edit - just a bit too specific ~ Sudsy> Chartruese is the ticket. Lots of shorts, keepers mixed in though.

Couldn't fish but I stopped down to the local Marine overlook just to see the water and BS with the guys. Schools and schools of bunker, small schools but lots of them, nothing on them except the occasional pod of dolphin.
Lots of guys with pencils and snag n drops - not a fish caught.
