I went for a ride and kicked it around NoMoCo. Didn't expect much, but I did scope out a new beauty of a rod and reel setup I might be splurging for at Grumpys. They got these new Seeker rods that Mike has been raving about. I talked to Ray and I am sold. I'm getting one when the next batch comes in, probably going to bite the bullet and get a VS to match. I just gotta build me a rack for the back of my truck with some way to lock up the rod...

Spring is almost here boys. Time to start sharpening the hooks.

I recently had a long talk with Butch Nappi, one of the Pro-Staff guys for Seeker about the new rods.

Played around with a few of the blanks and I'm kinda diggin em.

If you get one, fish it for a bit and let us know what you think.

I'll let you try it out Suds when I get it. We'll have to meet up.

I just gotta get ahold of Mike and get down there when the blanks come in, they are in pretty high demand from the sounds o fit.

Absecon Striped bass, including a few keepers, were reeled up from the Mullica River, and a few herring were plucked from the river, activity happening a lot earlier than last year

Nice fish Beachpounder. You put your time in, you got some fish. It's still cold, some keepers caught in RB. I was out last night, nothing, but spot looks promising. Hopefully some better news in the next few days. Tight lines
