Default A quick summer batch

Here's a few I did up quick over the last week, I was running out of pencils, and I just like surfster style.
Tried Sudsy's epoxy seal job, real happy with how that went.

Final testing this evening! Our Spring Run showed signs of slowing down or being over, but it blew up again last night.

Man, that fish got ALL of that plug, didn't he?

I really like the spook, too, I haven't made one yet that I'm really happy with.

It's really pretty easy Anthony, just fish down current from me.....I lose those things with amazing regularity. The other night we had our chance on a school of bunker that was in close and blowing up. We got to the end of the jetty, just 2 of us, and began casting, and ny bud hooks up as I get hit too, my fish misses, cast again, another follow and a miss, 3rd cast, I'm hooked up, then Noooooooooooo fish is gone and so is my pencil and snap.
Re-tie, clip on my most productive pencil, and on the cast, things suddenly get very light.....watch the pencil head for Cape Cod.
At this point my buddy lands his fish, the school moves off, and I begin to cry like a little girl. Well, not really, but maybe just a little. Fishin' is like that.
So, I'm puttin' 'em out there fairly often, keep your eyes peeled

rac,
I use etex to clearcoat the plugs, and I tie up the tails before I clear the plugs, I use some Sally Hansen nail poilsh over the thread, and let it dry while I clearcoat the plugs, then I use a little dab of etex over the Sally Hansen to get that little glob effect, with the color underneath it comes out looking real clean. I stuck a piece of foam on the end of my spinner so that I can spin the hooks while the plugs are spinning.
