Default Upper kenny two weeks ago

spawn has been on since mid June.. it's about done now but a few creatures are still kickin' around..

was a decent day in between rain drops.. my girlfriend got a good taste of hawgs chasing bait.. she was freakin' out! .. best fish of the day cut me wide open with a treble and didn't get a picture and didn't measure it but it was well over 42" and near 30lbs .. actually glad I was cut and not hooked deeper into some meat.. she only got skin.. and chicks dig scars .. fish should be dropping back to the lower river and mouth soon.. I hit the lower river last weekend and got into upper slot-fish amoungst a million rats.. instead of just rats :)

nothin' but jigs~

babycakes is gettin to be quite the jig slingah herself she digs fishing almost as much as I do.. check out her light tackle setup at her feet..LOL 1/2oz IM7 rod and Tica 3500 with 15# PP ... not to mention the cool looking hat .. the only thing she gets tired of is catching rats

Jonny, same setup you used when we fished the kenny together... it's still going strong! ... same line too

Oh ya, I remember that setup lol.....I only went and copied ya I liked it so much. I gut 3 or 4 now The guys with the big 9' Telephone Pole rods look at me weird when they see me land 15-25# class fish up at the dam in the Spring. "You caught that fish with that rod?". LOL, yup.

So jigs, ya git any slow days, ya gotta git y'ass down here for a day or 2.

Rags, LMAO... she'll kick yer ass! :)

yah Roc, a lot of healthy fish this year. never seen so many bluebacks in the river then this year.. ten fold easy.. decent fish are hangin right with 'em to.. you hit the lower river and the bait runs 3-4 inches long and it's mostly rats.. head up where the bluebacks are spawning and it's a different ballgame.. less fish but damn good ones when you hook up.. .. gonna be good fishing outside shortly.. the reports are movin north

Jonny, work has me somewhat tied but been thinkin about a trip down to see yooz guys.. maybe trade trips with Roccus and hit that maaahsh with you or where ever they happen to be lurking at the time.. the jig holes are just gettin' frequented now, not holding numbers yet or sizable fish, but it's a comin'.. 3-4 more degrees in the river and it be happnin then..
