Default New England Boat Show Feb. 18-26

The wife and I are planning to go this year so I can drool over some of the boats that I've been longing after. Here's my short list of boat manufactures we'll be looking at.

Albin booth#1314
Albermarle #4023
Back Cove#1406
Carolina Classic #1203
Grady #1303
Holby #1313
Hydra Sport #4040
Mainship #F60
Nauset #1108
Parker #3608
Scout #1313
Seaswirl #3610
Steigercraft #4038
World Cat #3700

Anybody else have plans to go? We'll be going either Saturday or Sunday of either the first or second weekend of the show...still somewhat up in the air.

Dissapointed that maycraft, judge, and a few other notables aren't going to be there.

My wife and I were thinking of going up on Saturday the 25th. If our plans coincide, we should meet up.

We may be able to swing that Bait. I have to wait and see if Roc and Terri weigh in on a preference for the date. Several months ago we talked about meeting up at the show.

Last night I reminded my wife about the show and she says Oh, I have to get my hair done. I asked how that was going to conflict with the show? She says, no, I have to get it done for the show. I'm still shaking my head over that reply.

How far along is your wife?

That's cool.. just let me know,, we could change our plans to the 18th (Sat) if necessary, but I'd prefer the 25th. Any other days are out for us. It'd be nice to meet you guys!

OK Roc, I was wondering where you've been. I hadn't seen a post from you in quite some time. Let me know after you speak with Terri.

Thanks,

Tony

Roc, did you carve the bodies from wood?

I'm gonna be making a batch of micro-balloon filled epoxy that I mold (by hand) into poppers and plugs. If you want to give that a shot, I'll put some aside for you.

BTW, micro-balloons are small hollow (air-filled) glass spheres that give the material bouyancy.

Zim, those are great avatars you got...

Do you know all of them? Or are you pulling them from the bathroom magazines you got stacked up?

----

Went to the "In-Water" boat show last October in Boston and had
a great time. I still get emails from sales guys... Don't know how to
tell them that I got to pay off my debt first.

I don't know how to tell my wife I'm buying a boat either...

Oh well, one of these days both will happen...Until then I'll be
draggin the sled across the beach.

The Sled, That's what I use to carry all my crap in across the beach when
I'm taking my kids and I out fishin.

In other words, it'll be another fishing season watchin the boats go by
and listening to all the great trolling storings and getting to places where
I can't!

Got too many damn bills to get thru. I told the wife I was gettin one when
I was 30. Well, I'm 37, pissed away about 1/2 million bucks or so, no boat
and a good amount of debt to boot.

There's light at the end though! Right about time when my 3 boys
will be able to drive the boat and I can fish or they can reel'em in
and I can enjoy watchin.

If you know all them, you're havin way too much fun for 1 person!
