Berkley Gulp ?

I've been hearing all the rave reviews coming in about it's effectiveness for fluke and weakfish. Has anyone tried the strips as trailers on bucktails or tin for bass ?

I picked up a pack in anchovy and one in herring - gunna give it a go in "M" on my next trip out.
I can't be the first person to try this. Anyone have any feedback ??

i put one of there fake sandworm things on a bucktail and caught one fuke thats it though.IM not extreamlly crazy bout them anymore they dont seem to work for me as much as ormal stuff.

I tried a strip one night on the end of a Charlie Graves tin lol, and I'll be damned....I got a fish on it LMAO. At night! I was out in tha maaaaaahsh. Charlie Graves at night lol, I almost crapped.

Everyone says you can't catch fish at night with poppers or tin. Before I knew this I caught em all the time

Just got back from "M" last night. Timed it perfectly, the whole East End finally busted open after weeks of tough fishing

I used cut strips in the anchovy flavor rather than using my standard pork rind on 1/2 oz jigs. The fish were on that whitebait crap and so were real picky but they jumped all over the jig with the Gulp strip. 3" x 3/8" rectangular with a slit in the rear about 1" long.

Have you ever tried Berkley Gulp! Sinking Minnow?? I've tried it a couple of times with no luck.

You can't get the minnow for love or money around here. The fluke guys buy em all up before they even get to the shelves.

Guess that means they work?

have faith young lad. Berkley make some rockin soft baits!! gulp is about as close to real bait one can get in a soft plastic. ....thouhg I'm wondering about the hi level of scent. I wonder...is there a such thing as too much scent?
