I caught my last fish on a clam i did not tie on. the rig i used is comprised of what is called an impact shield (breakaway tackle) i can't post a pic will pm you briggs

Next time i go fishing Zim....i'll take a pic of whats hanging from my rod for a'll wonder how i catch anything on it. I don't use shock leaders, i dont use any kind of circle hook(yet). no fish finders, no extravegant setups at all....and ya know, i never feel scared of losing a striper. call it stubborness, call it anything....i call it "The Way I catch A Cow" hahaha.

You got that right rock.........

My rig is something i used to use as a kid with my father(RIP). It works great for Tautogs and even better for Linesiders. Me, i like to get the fish in and release them as quick as i can. I am the master at deep hook removal and i always take the time to make sure the fish is ok. that 50lber i caught....i not only sat there for about a good 15 minutes, pulling the fish back and forth to fill its gills, but, i walked the beach for an additional 10 minutes, to make sure that she didnt wonder back to shore down the beach somewhere.

Its not just a sport, its a Passion !!!
