Default Daiwa Saltist Northeast Rod vs Seagate Rod -- Can I troll with these too?

I am in the market for a rod to use on my boat for chunking and live-lining. I was in a local shop and saw the Daiwa Saltist Northeast Casting rod and liked it. However, I want to be able to use this to troll tube and worm, swimmers with lips, and maybe a small umbrella or mojo.

Would I be okay using this rod for the trolling purposes as well or is it too underpowered?

The 7' Heavy is rated for 15-25lb line and the Extra-Heavy is rated for 15-30lb line.

The other option I liked was the Daiwa Seagate Conventional Boat rod which comes in Medium Heavy 15-30lb line rating and a Heavy 20-40lb line rating.

Thanks experts.
