Default Nuke plant catfish

Fishing was slow today at the Browns Ferry warm water discharge, my partner an I landed only 2 schoolie sized stripers on u-rigs...we decided to soak some cut skipjack and I was rewarded with my personal best blue cat.(a 30 pounder)
I have a new found respect for cats...that fella was STRONG!

Boy I bet for a minute there you were hoping it was a striper.
Did he surface and take a peak at you?

Well, Let's make this the year, you on the TN, Me? Just got a whoppah of a tax bill ?? let a dependent get away from me and didn't adjust W4, so fishing trips will be down by $1200.
Todd wants to fish the rivers in GA, maybe that's where it's going to happen.

lol...hmmm, sell a kidney and get on down here!
j/k, Jeff..all it would cost you is your gas travelling back and forth and the outta state license.
If you plan on getting a Tenn. license, here's another option: the Nickajack dam tailrace near Chattanooga.(a hidden jewel)
very good for striper/smallmouth/spotted bass.
I've fished there once with a guide and it appeared very safe and fishable for a tailrace(fairly deep water).
