Well baitfish,
That is encouraging news to those of us down Jersey way who have yet to see any signs of a fall striper run.....I've caught a few fish, but not what I would expect to be happening by now. I guess late is better than never, I'll try to stay patient and hope they show up....I'll be trying again tomorrow.

Jim,
I rarely hear about how smart striper fishermen are, and yeah, I will be dressing for comfort, I have an edge over some folks, I work for a snowplow store, cold is a way of life.
If it doesn't bother the fishies, who am I to complain?

Big blues are a plague for me on the Brooklyn shore. The baitfish aren't even there and they are still popping up.
When somebody pulls a bass up now everyone goes REALLY!?!?!?
It's been a very funky fall run. It started off nicely before the storm and I got a few nice bass and it took a dive from there. The water is still pretty warm, but that could change.
But thats good news, enjoy your catches! It is getting down to the nitty gritty.

I was out there this past weekend, at the other breachway, too many seals, went down to the beach , nothing. I called it a season.
