You might be a striper fisherman
if the midnight shift feels comfortable.
you spend 12 hours freezing your azz off for 1 fish.
You drive 100 miles to the shore to get skunked regularly
The wife thinks you need therapy. :) ( jimi4290)

If you sleepwalk out onto the marsh with a rod or two under a full moon.

If your boss tells you to go home and shower because you showed up to the office in the morning reeking of bunker & clams.

....if you trek and tread very dangerous rocky points and shoreline that animals dont even tread lol, even in heavy fog.

....if you bring a friend who doesnt fish much to spots like above, only to watch them stab themselves in the thigh with a baitknife. Yup, stab, not cut

You wake up at 0300 without an alarm to go fishing, come in to go to work at 0700, run out at lunch, go back to work and then run out again after work, go home for dinner and then walk across the street afterwards to throw a few.....

When a Noreaster hits, you scour the south facing shores for signs of fish on your way to work.

You hide a rod in your wife's car just in case.

You have to move the rods in your truck to get at your tools for work.

Your idea of a great present is a tide clock.

$3.50/gallon for fuel doesn't even slow you down from fishing.

You keep a weather station next to your bed.

....when you go to Wal-mart, the first section of the store you visit is sporting goods.

....when you pickup the mail, the first thing you actually look at are the fishing/boating magazines.

...when you have a section of your home that's dedicated to everything "fishy" (equipment, mounts, magazines.....)

...when the first thing you do when you get into work in the morning is boot-up the computer and double-click on the stripers247 icon you've created on your desktop.

We should run this thread for 2 weeks and then poll/vote on the best indicative statement. You can't vote for your own. Winner gets a free T-shirt.

Note: I'm not offering mine however.

... when you pick on me for driving 100+ miles to either get skunked or catch schoolies. i can dish it out as well as take it. and i take it a lot.

... when you snag all of your lures and drive to the bait shop only to drop 30 bucks to lose more, and love it.

...when you surf sites such as this.

... when you budget fishing expenses.

... when you drag in that fat "cow".

... you like the stench at low tide.

... when you drop your debit card at a wareham atm and the lucky winner spends your cash while your fishing. that really sucked.

i got more but i wont bore you. lol.

...when you ask your cruise ship captain to slow down so you can troll a tube n' worm.

...when your cruise ship stops at Saint Martin, the first thing you look for is a bait shop that sells eels.

Those are for you Roc.
