WOW!
Coalman, I remember doing that in a cove in Ct. as a kid. Sometimes we'd get winter flounder in the process.
Take a lot of jabbing sometimes,,, sometimes not.
Nothing better than a Muck Bottom.

Live eels over fake hands down,my Buddy who will be labled Angler of year has so far caught 14 fish over 40# and one over 50 all from shore and all on eels

Don't throw away dead eels. Rig and salt or freeze them submerged in water. If you learn to rig and work them properly they will outfish live eels 3-1!

He's chillin' and waiting fot the herring to run up his river. He's not sure how he's going to try to catch fish this year. Baby on the way means that he's stuck with the gear that he had last year and we all know how THAT worked out for him! Trout will be out soon. He went to scout his favorite trout pond the other day and foune it still iced over with those little out-house things on it. He'd like to trade a Jack Russell that won;t come when he's called for a nice 22' center console but doesn't think that is likely.
