Back to Stewiacke River yesterday, action starting to slow down ,,spawning is pretty much over. Managed to get three between, two keepers for supper tonite and a smaller on. The Bay of Fundy is starting to produce some stripers so I'll start fishing in the bay . Here's a pic of the two 27 inchers we got yesterday and a pic of the river.

How far up/down the river is that? How do you access that area? I don't want to get caught for fishing in inland waters without a license.

That pic is about 200 yards below the highway bridge,,I don't think you would catch anything now,,they are in the river to spawn in the spring,

At what point on the river do you need a lic? Nice fishing great to see you taking your Dad out. My wife also likes fishing as do my kids. My daughter has been after me about going next weekend to the bay. What part of the bay do you fish? any luck this week?

I'm not sure at what point you need a licenses, it is quite aways up the river. I usually fish in Highland Village, halfway between Great Village and Bass River. This si the first weekend I missed getting out this year,,A couple of friends were down ,got lots of little ones, nothing over 18 ins. Heard that someone got one 42 ins off the lighthouse in Bass River,,nice fish.
