Default Anyone fishing Pickwick?

Wondering if anyone had been to the dam Striper fishing? With the current not starting until up in the day and the heat. I bet they are eating it up in the evening with the current running..
Had plans on making it up there last monday but never got past RiverHeights as my Motor took out. So a new set of plugs in the E-Tec and hope its fixed. Going to try it out this week.
Pete

Hey Pete how did you do at Pickwick Tailrace? I fish there once or twice each week. Have been catching a lot of small Stripers ranging from 2 pounds to seven or eight pounds but havent been catching the larger ones. Tight lines.

Smile Re: Anyone fishing Pickwick?

(I have been fishing below pickwick dam almost every week this year and I have a question.) Have any of you guys seen a floating body fly on a 1/0 hook that is used on a Float N Fly rig? The fly has sort of a white plastic float body perhaps a quarter of an inch thick and a white feather. I found one tied to a float floating down the river and found out it works pretty good.
