Default How's Eve looking?

Looking pretty darn good!
Appears we have 11 members and almost as many guest attending!
Also sounds like at least 2 are bringing their significant others!
Perhaps we should of called it "Stripers247 First Annual Father's Day Eve"? Frankly, I'm very pleasantly surprised. Let's hope we can catch Ole' linesides off guard.
Just made a run down there with my Lab to make sure all's well,, and it is.
Water is clear, DEM is on patrol (sitting in truck suckin coffee), and only 3 cars looking to be fishing at 11:00pm (mid tide-ish).
I trust everyone is all set with their maps and directions?
It can get damp and raw down there. I know we all are aware of that, but be nice to your guest and warn them just in case.
I'm going to pass out my cell phone number tomorrow about mid day to the folks that said they'd be coming. If anyone would like to share their number and want it included with my PM, drop me a line. In the old days(?) us beach runners would use the C-B Radio for communications,, kind of miss them days in some ways. Might be nice to communicate on the beach a little?
Also, Last Call, it's still not to late to jump in. There's a mile of beach and plenty of spots left.
Gonna be a great night to go and "Floatsum"!

It's lookin friggin awesome is what it's lookin like. A good time will be had by all I'm sure, someone might even catch a fish . Earlier this evening I rigged up my surf rod for the first time this year. Speaking of communications,, I've got a couple little handheld radios I'll toss in the bag. Sorry,, my CB is in a box somewhere

Doesn't look like I'll have enough hats to go around, I'll bring as many as I can, but they go fast. See you all tomorrow night,,, I'm going fishing...

Somewhere around 6:00 am the "Beach" opens to bathers. They may charge you to leave!

Default Prediction

I predict that between 9:30 and 11:00 things willbe pretty dead. Then they will pick up as we get closer to the sunrise.
Let's see how wrong I am. Remember, I'm talking Bass, not Blues and Skates.
Peak time between 2:00 and 4:00 am.
Best time for a biggie 12:00 to 3:00 am.
Going out on a limb here, and it's a huntch, the biggest fish willbe caught @ 2:30 am and pushing 38# and it willbe on an extreem end. I'll be in the wrong place at the right time (as usual ).

,,,, and no, I wont eat crow.
