Do you ever liveline the pollack that are all over the place out here -merrimack river?

I dont, they work but I usualy can find better bait than them..

I heard the macs have been tough to find for various reasons. I keep getting the pollack when I go for the macs.

Thee are two problems with getting Macs right now, #1 the brown water extends beyond the 9 mile mark, they simply cant live in it,#2 those big, ugly toothy S.O.B.'s showed up hopefully they kept going to maine!

I may try in the morning for a few hours, I think I can find them...

Yeah, I think the macs have moved on. Weekend of 6/10-6/11 we hammered them 3-6 miles out. This past weekend...nothing! It was a pretty short window this year.

Mac's are at the Isle of shoals, daybreak with chum will net you enough to fish with...

Default I heard that from Crossraods as well....

Thanks Roc. I am going to try that next. We went out Saturday and did not try hard to find the macs cause of all the negative talk. Got four fish but it was a great day with two of my boys.
