Default Officially Summer

4 Lobsters and a keeper last night. 2 more keepers an hour before dawn this morning. Bluefish seem to be everywhere. I love coming in as everyone is headed out.

As I was headed in last night a car barge was going through the Hole being pushed by a tug with a full current moving him along at a very brisk pace. He was blasting his horn like a madman. 4 blasts every 30 seconds. Seems Sparky in his 45 foot Sportfisherman refused to get out of his way and came pretty close to getting nailed by the barge. The Tug Capt said "guess it's now officially summer".

I saw that barge around 8 in front of green harbor going south, we gave him about a 1/2 mile and it still looked like it was going to swallow us.

I haven't been over there for a couple of years but the last time I was there were probably 20 boats anchored right around the #6.....
