If you go down to the harbor Saturday nights during the summer I'm usually on the pier near the harbor master shack after midnight. Stop by and say Hi. I'll be the guy in the Stetson.

Nice! I'm about a mile from the ramp.......my biggest problem is finding the time to get out there............oh yeah and $3.00 per gallon for gas!
I'm going to try to get out for the first time on Saturday or Sunday (6th 0r 7th) you?

I haven't tried the power plant since the guy in the red flannel shirt and an m-16 told me that there was no more fishing there. I guess a 1.5 oz weight with a hook could puncture the reactor core. It's too bad too because that area was very productive.
I have had the same problem in South Boston. I was at the Black Falcon Terminal fishing when a Coast Guard inflatable with an m-60 mounted on it stopped to tell me to get the @%$#^&* out of there. A cop then pulled up to explain that it is too close to the runway at Logan. Again, an egg sinker and a hook are the terror weapons of choice.

never underestimate the damage you can do with an egg sinker

Yeah I had the same problem at the power plant..........there are or were last time I was there big white cans that tell you to p*ss off. I would guess they are about 1/4 mile out surrounding the power plant........you can still fish beyond those though.........I remember the guy with the machine gun waving me off while trolling. It was about 1 minute before I hooked onto a 35" keepa!!

(about a year ago now)
