Near some salty water...
That's a question that very few on this board would actually answer specifically, and if they did, the answer would quickly be deleted or edited. What one considers to be his "best spot" is, and should be, a carefully guarded piece of knowledge that should not be posted in a public forum such as this. With thousands of people reading these posts, if I were to post that information, the likelyhood of finding it too crowded to fish is just too high.
Read up on the stickies in the Sufcasters forum, the Striper Room, etc. for information on what to look for in a good spot, how the fish relate to structure and current, and then when the time comes you'll be prepared to get out there and put in the time to find your own "best spot" It's called paying your dues, and part of what makes what we do most satisfying. Anyone on here would be more than happy to share what they've learned along those lines, but you still have to get out and make it work for yourself, and do your own hunting.
Make a point to come to some of the Gatherings that we have coming up this year. That's a great time to pick the brains of some of the best guys around, who are very familiar with these waters. You'll be glad you did!
Please don't take this the wrong way,,, not picking on you here. Just a friendly nudge down a better path of learning than asking someone to give up their honey hole
