Default Stripers.....

Who keeps the legal size stripers they catch? Do they make a good meal? I/m not a big fish eater, but the wife loves fish. Looks like a nice size striper can make some nice fillets.

I spend $17,000 for a boat - hundreds of $$ on fishing equipment a year - spend a small fortune in gas for the truck and boat and I don't eat fish ... But if I start eating them Striper is gonna be the first fish I try .

I had some last night and it is tasty.........grilled it with a mesquite rub and also did some poor man's shrimp with cocktail sauce.

I have always let most of em go.......this year my plan is to stock up (legally of course) on the 15 pound and under fish.
