Question Braided line/salt water?

I'm switching from mono to braided for stripers and i was wondering if maybe you should rinse it with fresh water after or? I heard it doesnt stand up well for salt water. Any comments appreciated, thanks.Fishing the coast of Maine if the stripers ever arrive.

I have used braid in salt water for 3 years now with no problem. I do rinse everything when I get home though.... my reels, rods, tackle, boat, etc. Salt water tears up everything.

I never had a problem with braid and salt water. And I've never rinsed off my braided line. Go figure.

I use Braided No problems at all. I just rinse the rod and reels off while i rinse down the boat and trailer.

My stuff only gets rinsed when I fish in the rain - no braid problems
