Default Clams for weakies and fluke?

What part of the clam do u use for these guys? Do u just use a little chunk of that white muscly stuff (that stays on the hook well) or is the goopy part the best part? Never caught a weakfish. RoyG likes to use real small pieces and tends to catch more fluke than me when I use the bigger pieces.

I used to just throw any part of the clam on lol. I like Fluke Bombs with a pork trailer on the hook. Got addicted to those when I used to target flatfish alot with my Bro.

I personally like the minnow with a piece of squid on the end. Has worked well for me in the past and pretty good every outing so far this year.

:I have never used clam for fluke or weaks. For fluke strip of squid and a smelt or shiner(spearing). I've caught weaks on chunks and squid, drifting.Jimmy Z
