Here are the eyes. I start with plastic cat eyes, mine have painted backs,
the first step is to remove the paint. I use acetone and try to keep from getting it on the front. (READ WARNINGS ON CAN
The next step is to apply the secondary color (gold) dabbed on in small amounts. And then protect the front (I stick mine in plumbers putty) from paint overspray and then spray the backside with chrome spray can paint.
The eye on the left has a haze the occurred when acetone comes in contact with the front, the one on the right has been fixed using heat to remove the haze (keep the heat source moving while the eye slowly heats up and starts to clear) the eye will become crystal clear agian.
