Default Parker or Wellcraft?

In my constant search for my next boat, I have come to really like both of these brands. If I had my way, I'd pony up for a Parker 21' Sport Cabin but I really don't think that will happen... I just love that boat - or at least the idea of that boat

Anyway, I think I will end up getting an 18' center console boat without a t-top. The Wellcraft is a deeper boat with a full transome and a little more in the creature comfort department. The Parker is that beautiful off-white and very roomy. The Parker has Yamaha 4 stroke power and the Wellcraft has an E-Tec on it.

Either boat will end up with a bow mounted trolling motor and will be used a lot for freshwater bass fishing. I will also be out in the salt as much as possible.

I'd like to hear what you guys think of these boats. I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks
Jay

I'm just getting up to speed on motors again (for next season).
So far, I'd probably go for the e-tec over the Yami 4 stroke.
Basicly from a preventive maint. cost issues etc.
On the hulls, both have strong followings. Don't think you'd be disapointed in either.

I just saw this after it was sold and instantly fell in love with the 17' Roth.
Alas, day late & dollar short.

Wow Gary - Thats a perfect for a striper hunter.
I looked over their site. They make an 18 foot sport without the teak and Chrome/stainless fittings

Thanks.
Found anouther for $15K. 1999 that sounds a bit steep to me. Ten year old unknown motor scares me to be honest.
New they seem to list around $37K. Lotta $ for me for a 18' open boat.
Think I'll look onward.

JVC-
Sorry about the

The wellcraft is crafted for the fisherman in mind. Parker is. buddies got a
23 wellcraft. Its nice mind you 200 Yamaha that goes. Not room for gunnel holders
space lacks a bit too much cockpit not enough deck.

I just got into a Parker 2003 18cc with a t-top last spring. I must have looked at 12 different boat companies and Parker was the best bang for the buck. The other thing I loved was that many 17-19 CC have crap up in the bow, bow seats, storage, ect. Parker has nothing up front, a completely open bow area. I found this extremely helpful when fishing with more than one person. I am in an 18ft boat that comfortably fits three guys fishing. I love my boat.

I'm sitting on my hands waiting for a particular 1801 Parker w/ 130 Yami.
Guy is slow. LOL
Busy I guess, but he's a "Detail Artist" of sorts. I get pictures of a relatively clean section of the boat, then a after detail pic.
From what I've seen, it's looking better than new.
He's hating paperwork(?). Could be waiting a new title of something I'm not sure.
But, yes. I like the clean lines of the Parker.
Wellcraft is nice too, but it's not a Parker.
Still like the Roth I missed too.
