Got out into the Bay today just after daybreak.
The tide was out.
I was fishing a cove at Fox Point. I watched the cormorants fly into the cove and form a net. This was very well put together and thought out. They spread out in a big line and forced the bait, silversides, into shore. Then they would feast. Out side of the cormorants must be where the bait tries to escape. The bass were boiling. I watched them regroup and do this 4 times.
The bait and the bite is on in Great Bay. I caught 8 on Saturday and 14 today. All live eels. No keepers. There is a good school of 24 to 27" bass hanging at Fox Point
