Default Freshwater striper

Several questions on one post. Where can I buy a bait tank maximum of 30 gallons for a decent price? Will be using it to hold live shad. Also where to purchase a decent 8' cast net? When I do some striper fishing come next spring I want to have at least four rods at the ready in case we run into a feeding frenzy at the surface. These will have spinning reels and topwater baits of course. Looking for ideas on some good quality spinning reels with a smooth, strong drag system. I currently have two Penn Battle 4000 reels. Have heard good and bad about them so not sure if I want to invest in two more. Wanting to see what others are using and have confidence in. Last thing for now, a friend of mine uses all fluorocarbon on his reels. My plan is to use mono with probably a 6' leader instead to save $$. Will be using this setup to downline with live shad. He claims the mono spooks the stripers but I asked him wouldn't the 2oz lead weight do that?? Just looking for opinions and appreciate any help.

I've got a Penn Conflict for surf fishing. I think it's great. As for the mono and flouro fish see it thing. I used 50lb leaders last season and am using 40lb flouro this season. I have seen no differance in my catch ratio. I realise you are trying to save money. What about braid with a flouro or mono leader?

Hey thanks! I'm just not into the braided lines. Will just end up going with the mono and a good 6' fluorocarbon leader. I've heard unless the water is really clear your wasting your money on fluorcarbon anyway cause that's what it's for very clear water. I've got a couple of 200yd rolls of Seaquar InvizX that should last a long time as leader material. Can always spool one reel completely with fluocarbon just to see for myself if it gets more bites or not.
