Default Striper activity

Hello,

I was out of the country for some time and I was wondering if there is any striper activity going on around Milford, Shelton, Derby area.

Thanks for any update!

I'm a ways north of CT but my gear's been hung up for 2 1/2 months now. Finally wet a line Saturday through the ice, couple of nice largemouths, handful of missed flags........felt great to get back out there and just say I WENT FISHING!!!!

This past Saturday I went to fish at the Derby/Shelton damn. I got there at 12 noon (high tide was at 12) and started out with diamond jig, then switched back and forth with the bomber plug. 2 hours later still no bites. There was 3 more folks there and they didnít get anything either.

I drove back a bit to the place where the 2 rivers split, but I was unlucky there as well.

Thought you ought to know.

Cheers!

Howdy!

Over last weekend I visited Housatonic River around Derby and Gulf Beach in Milford. I tried chunking with clams, and some sluggos but no bites, nada, zip!

Anyone having luck elsewhere?

Cheers!

Westport area from the beach. 3 bass 20-24in all on white sluggos. 7pm outgoing tide .

Didn't kill them but wasn't expecting anything anyways. All and all excited to get my first ct bass of 2013.
