Default racecars at Daytona this weekend

Thank god the Nextel Cup boys get back into action this weekend. Bud shootout under the lights at Daytona Saturday, I won't have to watch the nuts on snowmobiles race anymore

Jeff Gordon will win the shootout!

Default Shootout

So, what's everybody think of the cars this year? I didn't see enough passing to make me very happy, more like a rolling parking lot, I hope the 150's and the Five Hunnert pick it up a little, the new rules package hasn't impressed me yet......

Ed

PS Still damn glad to see cars on the track tho, only a few more weeks till the fishies are back, now I have something to do to keep me going till then.

hey Ed, unfortunately I think what you saw it what we're gonna get for the 150's and the 500. Smaller plate means less HP=harder to pass. I liked the package they had in 2001 when Earnhardt got killed. They had that goofy wickerbill on the spoiler and the strip across the roof, that was the best and worst race I ever went to. Earnhardt gettin killed, happy freakin 30th birthday to me.

Wow, that sucks dude, 30 is OLD......

Jes' kiddin', I'm way older than that, but I sympathize with ya about the race, glad you got to go, I've never been, but even now 4 years later it still sucks about DE.

And I agree, bring back the wickerbill, if they're going to make them slow, at least make them so they can suck up and race. If I'm not mistaken, the Busch cars run the setup to this day, they just gotta keep screwin' with the Cup guys.

I'm watching the truck race now, they're tearin' shit up, the Busch boys tomorrow and the Cup guys on Sunday, life is good.

And soon, fishies.
Ed

OK Steve, I'm back! It's still to early to really fish hard so it must be time to get this NASCAR stuff rolling.

I see the Crusty stuff! Jeffy won the fist one. His X will appreciate the extra $$$$$$$$$$$$ next month

Can't believe he got off that easy. Maybe she got his left one on the deal?
I got my tickets for both races here.
