Default Shopping for a rod or two, could use some suggestions!

I have a pair of Abu Garcia Ambassadeuer 5600c4 reels that I like very much. I've had them mounted on a pair of fairly stiff. (For largemouth) bass rods but I don't like the matchup at all. Kind of a use what you got situation. I would like to find rods more suitable for fishing from a boat and from shore. Remember I have two of those reels, I would like to be more flexible with them. One boat rod, one surf rod. I keep my eyes peeled but the only casting style rods I find besides bass rods are typically trolling rods and the surf rods I find are just comically fat and stiff. Any suggestions for a good couple casting rods for these reels? ide like to keep it around or under $100. Thanks fellas!

8' med action ugly sticks, don't worry about the medium action, it's great for live bait n u won't break it if u have good drag on the reel, actually with a crappy reel I still don't think you'll break it

I run 7' ugly sticks medium action. I prefer a smaller rod in a boat. Much easier to work/net your fish if you're solo.

Check out Tsunami TSAWEBC-701MHJ Airwaves Elite Braid Casting Rod. I use the spinning rod version, I love them. Can cast chunk with a 3 oz weight a mile. Live herring cast good too. I use mine for shore and the kayak. The handles are great and the butt end has a nice gimble cap for when you fight bigger fish. Online has them for $109.
