Default G. Loomis IMX Surf Rod??

I've read alot about them. Does anyone have some input on how good they are?
I was at Cabela's today and had the 10'6" in hand. Looked good, kinda felt good BUT????
I don't know. For that kinda money. Didn't feel that great.
On paper I damn near fell in love with this rod.

Thanks for all input.

They're fairly new to the scene, and I haven't seen one in person yet, but definitely made with high quality components and G. Loomis has a very good reputation.

This spring I bought the IMX 1325. It seems to cast best with a 3 oz plug or jig. Anything more or less than that it doesn't cast as far ( at least for me)

It does cast great though. I NEVER get any wind knots with this rod. The best thing about this rod is the warranty. You break it for any reason they will replace it via overnight mail for only $100. It's the best warranty out there that I am aware of.

The sensitivity is great and the 5 inch adjustable reel seat helped me as I am not very tall or have long arms. So that feature was also a selling point for me.

Lastly - I bought mine brand new at a salt water fishing expo in Providence, RI. At these expo's the vendors are looking to make deals. I paid $450 with no tax as opposed to the retail price of $555. You can make deals at these fishing shows.
