The Boa rigs made by owner stink IMO.
Owner generally has great hooks especially the circles.
but the boas didn't hold up for me when i've used them.
Tennesse Petes company makes there own .
Shown here at reasonable costs. They also have the float rigs that you guys may want to take a look at that are being used at the Tennessee dams with great success.
Im sure Pete will expound on any questions for you, perhaps in a different Sweetwater thread.

better off making em yourself as you can use proper material and hooks. if you saw how easy it is to learn the sliding knot for that application you would go perhaps a tutorial is in question? i will put that on the agenda of tutorials i may do as i am not all that motivated for tutorials as of yet.

If i can't snag some mackeral in maine, and i'm forced to buy some frozen ones, can the balloon method still be utilized for chunking inorder to keep the bait off the bottom? I was thinking of a 3 ft flouro leader to an 8/0 gami octopus at the bussiness end, a barrel swivle to my braid, and tie the balloon to the swivle somehow? Also if i can get some live mackeral should i use a sinker slide on the balloon or tie it at a specific length up the line?
