Default Hello people.

Hi all. Husky is in the house.
Hey guys and gals, have you ever tried making a Plug? I found a new way of making them and besides being fun, it's inexpensive and easy. the only kicker is that you have to send the spouse out when you're working the Bondo or Resin because it's a tad stinky! Hvy Wt (16 lb Urethane Foam) is about the weight of hard maple, only it won't split, crack, absorb water and will stand up to Choopers.

A Foam Surfster.

If anyone is interested, ask and I'll show you how to do it.

I'm a transplanted NY'er. From Brooklyn to NH. I used to know a guy name John Mesner, from SI. I mention him because He was a great guy AND a great fisherman. Back then, 30 Years ago, he was a NYC Fireman. He used to be quite a lure maker and put on Distance casting displays at Yankee Stadium. Ask around, if anyone knows his whereabouts, please.

Husky
Staten Island. SI is only 17 miles by 11 miles. approx 430,000 people there now though. I still call it home even though I bought a house in the Pocono Mountains and travel back and forth a lot. Primary residence is now the mountains. The xpressway sux. I loved the boardwalk and the beach.
Do you know what neighborhood he's from? North or south shore.

Ill ask around about him for ya. I bet ya we track him down.

I used to watch them running the cable from my HS window (New Utrecht). I guess I should have been looking at the teacher instead!
The boss used to sweat making the ferry as the lines used to be miles long sometimes.
BTW, I went to a Mets game in their 1st season and saw them play the "Colt .45's" now the Astros in the Polo Grounds. They Lost.
