I might have to take the ride over water...I'd be at least an hour and a half

...I could see if I could the bad boy up on to the trailor...I'll see...

Macks sound good w/ Stripers...or Cod...or Winter Flounder...Its all good...
...I'm fully rigged too...for Cod or Stripers...

I'll see what the situation with the boat is...

I also got a friend in Salem Harbor...who might join us...we'll see

After some checkin...the ride to Plum Island is like 2 hours in the boat...
...any chance we could meet up in Marblehead, Salem or Manchester BTS...

I keep the boat in a slip...and its a pain in the a** to get it on the trailor...
...I'll see...

...If you guys come down to Boston...maybe the Great Santini could meet up with us...

...What ever works for everyone else is cool...I'll try to find a way...

after checking with Brandon and comparing our schedules how does Sunday June 5th sound??

Don't care where we do it, Brandon and I will be towing the boat anyway, I'll let you guys chit chat to figure out where, although the Merrimack would be closer for us

If you decide to fish the Merrimack, call Roccus or Seawasp lol. My friend's brother also fished the Merri and Plum Island area regularly and has a boat.

BTW, June 5th? I would forget about Macks and head to the dams upriver to fish the Herring Run. All those hungry hungry Bass exhausted from the migration will be planted right behind the rocks at the head of tide, just waitin for that tide to drop and tha Herrin's to spill out tha fish laddah....

Let me check some of the pertinant info, June 5th should net us some fish ,the 12th would probably be better if you want some decent bass, but i'm sure we can make it work on the 5th if thats what everybody wants.

As most know by now the Merrimack river is my home that is where my boat is slip berthed.

If it's a bass trip (which is what everyone seems to want) my early plan would be to fish the river itself, more than likely up river by the chain bridge, last year the early run fishing was outstanding, but of coarse every year is different, but I'll find us some fish.

I've already done my tide checkin, looks like the 5th gives the most options, even if the big guys havent invaded yet i can put us on a ton of schoolies, with high tide at 8:53,if it is too rough(windy, storms or whatever) to run to breaking rock for macks(unless i find them closer) we have the option of some jig fishing, tubin' and then sone plug/top water fishing on the edge of the flats as the tide drops... another thing too,I have a spot upriver where we can pick up a few white catfish for dinner once the tide goes down, all that is needed is an anchor and a little cut bait.

I'm stickin with the 5th even if I only have a chance of pullin up an old boot or tire , any other weekend in June and the old lady's gonna kill me . I'll be roofing in April and going to 2 NASCAR races then roofing the other 2 weekends in May so my weekends in May are shot....... heading up to the camp on weekends in Brownfield Me starting the weekend of June 11th

The 5th looks like THE weekend, like I said the tide gives alot of options, checking my log book,I had big stripers(up to 30 lbs) before memorial day(along the cow pasture),hopefully the water temps rebound and we see them again,I also know of a few spots upriver that holds holdovers, well have a blast no matter what,on another note,I had a party down from the hills of vermont last year on 6/5 , we did very well with Cod,haddock and mackerel.

I'm planning on taking the Friday 6/3 off, that will give me two days to pattern the fish......
