I've been looking out my window at Wilsons Res, wanting to cut a few holes.
Would be worthless however, as 15 or 20 snowmobiles and a couple dozen 4 wheelers are screamin across the lake all day long.
Sure would love a few breaded/fried Yellow perch fillets right now.
I'm gonna take a ride in the morning and see if Wallum is frozen over, Trout through the ice on a lake that doesn't allow the idiots to ruin the day by running over tilts or scarin all the fish would work for me.

Buried agin............................
5 on the ground and the big puffy, snowball size flakes have visibility down to zero.
Will someone tell Al Gore to knock it off already!
How about we all go out and run our cars for a few hours, see if we can't get this place to heat up a little.

first time making lead weights. Also my first time ever making a rod from blank material. Purchased a 11'6" fiberglass blank from Lamiglass. Have a few things in mind as far as guides and seats go, but I'm thinking this rod will be for bottom fishing/bait fishing only. I bought a shimano bait runner 6500 to with said rod.

Sigh . . . lookin forward to fishin, but These things are keeping me busy. Trappin plenty O' crab too. I should buy a chest freezer for 4 gallon chum buckets. Come on spring!
