Default Deer Island this weekend

Was thinking about hitting up Deer Island this weekend sometime late saturday or sunday. Anyone else interested? Lets see if we can cover some water and see figure it out. Would love some other opinions about how to fish it. PM if interested.

Completely and totally frustrated! Have not caught anything this year except for a few (very few) shorties. I have fished bottom with bait, I have thrown plugs; on top, in the middle, and on the bottom. I have fished early morning, late night incoming tide, out going tide slack tide etc etc etc. Absolutely nothing! What the hell am I doing wrong? At this point I think I would pay someone to teach me how and where to fish. Any of the shore guys around Boston want a very eager but novice fishing buddy? I love to fish but it would be nice to actually catch something once in a while rather than just drowning bait and wearing my arms out casting.... OK I am done whining. Please return to your usual programming

You may wanna give Allan a call....He goes by the name of Stripernut on most forums

http://www.nesportsman.com/advertisi...sguiding.shtml

He'll guide you on your boat and show you how to catch fish

I was on a boat 2 years ago with him and he caught a 125# tuna on a spinning rod, this is the video I took of him

Hi guys. I fished here too with limited luck. Only one over 28, the rest were pretty short. I did have some incredible luck around the corner though, but the bite was definitely pretty unpredictable.

There are a couple of other spots that were holding a lot of fish, only 5-10 minutes away...

These were all taken this past season in Winthrop, with the exception of the last three, which were technically right over the Revere border. All late summer to late fall, on plugs; sp minnow, bombers, Danny, and a couple on stillwater smack it popper.

...hope they upload. Doing this from my phone.

HAHA there isn't much action on these boards for whatever reason. Check your PM file though.

it's winter.... most look elsewhere for entertainment.. I've been striper fishing for close to a half century now... not alot for me to get excited about until the big girls show up in June.. I've answered the same questions so many times they make me dizzy.... it'll pick up in later april when the first little guy;''s show in their left over haunts as well as when the freshies arrive form the south...
