Not legally but the reality is no one would ever know - unless they were specifically watching you.

It should be a creel limit which would stop people from loading up livewells and having lots of dead ones at the end of the day but still allow you to fish with fresh, live herring.

Herring come here to make more herring. More herring, more bass.


I'll hook a live one, then when he's shot or I head back home, I take him back in the cooler and use him as chunk.


10 per person, or 30 boat total I think on that one?


That 5 frozen may possibly not count, but make sure you got your receipt from the bait shop!
