WTB: Penn 704 or 706 (green)

Looking for a cheap 706 or 704 greenie in ANY condition. I just need it to pull the sideplate off and put on a Z model.

How much would a 704z go for these days?....that is if anyone had one.

Not looking for a 704Z. Just 704 or 706. The"Z" models are the newer black ones with plastic side plates. The 704 or 706 were mostly green with metal sideplates. But to answer your question a 704Z would go from anywhere between $10-100. A 704 (greenie) $10-130.

striperjim, thanks. I actualy live almost across the street from Scott's. The sideplates they have are the plastic ones. I needed the metal (oldschool) style. I'm all set now though (Thanks Tom).

I take it you packed the reel with grease and the crappy plastic sideplate is letting it squeeze out??
