Is that Merc.. control box or an aftermarket(Morse,Teleflex etc.)

Merc used the same box for 25 years, just changed the outside and a few minor things on the inside, then they went to the new style,I had to replce my NEW platnum cables(one season old) because they were not compatible with the new style box ..... :x But the box was all blown out, I had to remove the cable and shift by hand, luckily the throttle still worked...so I still got my fishing in that night....I just made longer drifts LMAO... I need help!

As I remember it was a PITA to adjust them...

Hey dad how do you post pics here. I only got one today, wasn't a keeper but it was alright considering I hadn't striper fished since I left for the Navy. It was the only one caught while I was there too.

BTW, Roc, I noticed your "Reverse Action" on the throttle box on May 2nd. I remember looking at it right before we left the dock on that first trip, and thinking...this is the "Heli-Boat" LMAO. Down is up, and up is down LMFAO

Default Not a striper

Alright maybe it wasn't a striper. Show's you how long it's been since I've caught a striper. It was actually a bluefish. I feel like an ass but it happens. What a dissapointment.

I'm definately  I think I might take next week off and do some more fishing. I was only there for about 5 hours. It has just been so long you know. I tried chunks of bunker, live bunker, clams, and a couple of lures. I heard they did pretty good the night before on some bucktails. I have to go to work late tomorrow cause I've got to fly tomorrow night so I might go out for a little tonight after the wife and daughter go to bed. Nobody had eels though. I'll see if I can't get some before I go down.
