Ah, yesss!! My very first striper!!! Small compared to some of the later ones, but still a great fish I thought!!

Great fishing trips are not without war wounds.

Here's a spine from a striper dorsal fin that I removed from my knee after I got home. This fish now resides in my freezer. The one and only fish that was kept today.

sounds like a great day of fishin' I'm sure Jonny looks like a lobstah with all the sun. Wish I coulda been there but the wife had other plans for me, got the water hooked up at camp and went swimmin with the kiddo's. Colin was worried about the "sharks" he could see in the water, turned out to be "bait" or trout as some call em
